Allow God to Lead

The neighbor-minded church creates common ground and not dividing lines. In this vodcast, our host Jose Cortes Jr., has an honest conversation with Joseph Khabbaz about one church’s ministry to the refugees and how it seeks to connect the gifts and talents that God has already given refugee families with the gifts and talents of church members. Such an approach focuses on meeting the needs of refugee families while not forgetting the gifts that those refugees have to offer. The key in developing this relationship is allowing God to lead and not bringing your own agenda. Watch video here.

Joseph Khabbaz, MDiv, is the vice-president for spiritual life and chaplain at Southern Adventist University.
