Unions-Most unions will provide financial support to help pastoral families attend. Check with your conference ministerial director to see how it works in your union.
Conferences-Most conferences will help pastoral families attend. Some have saved several years for the convention, some use continuing education budget, and others utilize the budget for worker’s meetings and apply it to the convention. Check with your ministerial director to see what arrangements are being made for you in your conference.
Congregations—Many churches will be taking up a collection this October during the Pastoral Appreciation month to thank their pastoral families with a financial gift to help them attend the Pastors Family Convention.
Pastors—Those pastors who chip in some of their own funds to help attend the convention may find it more fulfilling because they will have personally invested in the experience.
