The role of the pastor is selfless. Your whole life revolves around equipping and serving your congregation. You and your family have served so long, and so hard, that you may not even remember the last time that you were served. But from June 20-24, 2020, at the CALLED Pastors’ Family convention, it’s all about you. You will be connected. You will be equipped. You will be inspired. You will be valued.

YOU WILL BE CONNECTED through ONE on ONE conversations, TECHNOLOGY, and FELLOWSHIP MEALS.

Imagine connecting with classmates from college, seminary, or a previous conference. Bring them up to speed on your pastoral journey and listen as they share their stories with you.  Connect with other pastors who you’ve read about but never had a chance to meet. Sit down with new friends and talk about the unique challenges and opportunities of ministry.

Watch as your spouse and kids connect with others who share the joys and challenges of living in the pastoral family.

We make it easy for you to pick your friends out of a crowd of thousands and set up meeting times and places with our CALLED App.  Download it to your smartphone or tablet device. The schedule and the design of the event is built for connections. There is plenty of informal time in the schedule to connect at a meal, or hundreds of small gathering places throughout the convention premises.

YOU WILL BE INSPIRED through the GENERAL SESSIONS, MISSION, and EVANGELISM SHARK TANK.

The convention arena sessions are planned and focused specifically for pastors and their spouses. Each of the six sessions will be transformational through powerful worship experience, singing, preaching, teaching, and equipping. Every session will be a multi-faceted and multi-media approach addressing the life of pastors. The sessions will emphasize the call of the Lord into full time ministry through the story arc of Elijah, seven Core Qualities of effective pastors, research discovery, issues pastors face within the home, and we will hear from pastors share their experiences in their own words.

YOU WILL BE EQUIPPED through SEMINARS, TECH MINISTRY LAB and CONTINUING EDUCATION.

Opportunities will be provided for you to both develop your Core Qualities as well as raise some of your skills into the rarefied air of mastery.  Learn from the best in seminars and super seminars that bring expertise to the Core Qualities of Evangelism, Leadership, Worship, Management, Scholarship, Relationship, all built on the foundation of Character. Ministry specialists will teach and share fresh resources for ministry. You will rediscover your unique mix of spiritual gifts and skills.

This convention will be packed with continuing education for updating your personal Adventist Learning Community account, and ways to better serve and reach your community for Christ. Return to your church with a completed certificate of continuing education for the year 2020.

YOU WILL BE VALUED through SPOUSEYOUTH, AND CHILDREN meetings.

Spouses will connect with friends old and new, experience fresh ideas and skills, join plenary sessions with their pastor spouse, choose from many interactive spouses’ seminars and forums, interact with the Ministry Expo activity center, and male spouses will enjoy the outdoor activities designed especially for them.

PKs, ages 13-17 will worship with an energetic youth & young adult team of experienced worship leaders; hear messages from their own peers; see the Bible revealed in a way that will lead to decisions for Christ; impact the Lexington Community by participating in a mission project, and enjoy an amazing time with friends in fellowship, food and fun.

Kids ages 3-12 will experience and understand their spiritual gifts, helping them know how they can serve God with their best, and help them to be the very special people God made them to be.  When your children discover their spiritual gifts and how special they are, they will know and understand other people’s spiritual gifts, and recognize the uniqueness of others for who God made them to be.

So take for a few days take a break from serving and allow us to serve you.
